Alex Bornyakov, deputy minister of digital transformation of Ukraine, only recently tweeted about the fact that by late September an astonishing $ 178,000,000 had been raised in the form of different cryptos. Amazed by the enthusiastic efforts of the cryptocommunity to aid Ukraine in the face of the full scale invasion of ist territory, the minister pointed out to the fact that due to the quick and unhindered nature of crypto, the funds raised arrived “even before the bulk of aid from official resources arrived.“ This feat was accomplished through the humanitarian efforts of not only the worldwide cryptocommunity in general, but also through the efforts of Web 3-based organisations like Ukraine DAO and Aid For Ukraine.
